WILSON TIME CHANGE
TEAMS 9-16 

Teams playing at Wilson have a change to their times for this Monday, February 8 due to basketball zones that the league had no control over.  Teams 9, 10, 11 and 12 will not start until 7, rather than 6.  Teams 13, 14, 15 and 16 will not start until 9, rather than 8.  Please ensure your team is at the gym ready to set up the nets and play at those times, however, please advise your teammates that you may not be able to start right at 7 (and therefore 9), if the basketball runs late/into overtime.  We are told that the caretakers are aware they will have to stay late to allow us to finish.  However saying that, do not go over your 2 hour time slot.  If you start at 7:15, finish by 9:15 so the late slot teams can start and finish accordingly.  We sincerley apologize for the inconvenience, but the only other option was to cancel another night of volleyball, which we did not want to do.

Rules

The LLVBL has updated it's rules for the 2009/2010 Season.  Please check out the rules pages to see the new rules.

Running out of Time

 If there is less than 15 minutes left in your time slot (regardless is you are in the early or late time slot) and you are just starting your new game, play to 15 (capped at 17).  It isn't fair for the teams who have a lot of late slots to constantly start later than scheduled.  Be considerate to those playing after you, and ensure you do not go over the scheduled time, even at the end of the night - do not wait until the caretakers kick you out, as that hinders our relationship with those facilities.  Do not change your mind as to how many points you are going to play to last minute, unless agreed to by both teams.

Start and Finish 

With regards to Wilson and the trouble we have had in the past with respect to finding the nets, the caretakers are supposed to meet teams at the gym around 5:50 to give us access to the nets/posts, etc.  Per our agreement with the City, we are supposed to be able to get into the gym by 5:50 to get set up.  The caretakers are to meet us at 10 as well to take the nets and ensure they are put in the correct spot.  Please continue to let us know any problems with Wilson and we will continue to talk to the City.

Please ensure that all members of your team have filled out both the roster form and the waiver/code of conduct.  Please make sure to sign both sides of the form.  These are due ASAP.  They can be given to Vicki.  She is on CPC Attack so you can give them to her at the gym or you can mail them to her at
